Scarlett Engle (Culutral Anthropology, PhD Candidate) accepted a position as the Tribal Relations Specialist at the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. This is a new position for the Forest, so Scarlett will be creating the program and ensuring that the Forest upholds its trust responsibility to tribes and that tribal community members are able to exercise their tribal treaty rights on USFS lands.
